first Video blog 2015

     In this project I had to watch and create a storyboard for a video about a girl that lifted weights.  In order for me to do this I must go scene by scene and pausing at each transition so I can see the sequence change and so I can draw what is being shown in the image.
     The story that was told was about a girl but she wasn't one of those everyday girls; Michaela lifted weights with her dad as her coach. She held many records at her school as a power lifter making her father proud. This was told in a manner to show how her family loved her no matter what weather it was in the kitchen or on the court lifting.
     Something that I would take out of this video would be the way they used the six shot sequence and how it flowed smoothly and for future project the control of always having sound weather it was from the background or someone talking. Something that could be approved in this video is keeping the camera still there were points where I thought there was a shake. Other for that the video was great it had a very good story behind it, great transition shots , and really good voice overs.

What is Graphic Design?

Graphic design is an art that is edited by another persons imagination for advertisements, magazines, or books. Graphic design can be found everywhere on buildings, containers, furniture pretty much everything. Most pictures you will see have been photoshopped which is another type of graphic design. Without graphic design this world would be boring and people wouldn't know what the heck anything was just picture the world without graphic design look at stores they wouldn't have a name it would just be blank; see without graphic design our world would just be lost. Graphic design is important.

Final Blog Project.

So in our group we all had something to do for every transition. We would all put in our ideas and put them together to make something big.

 I was in charge of the banner, the animation, the store, and I came up with the floating pencil idea in our video. Sadly I was gone for the editing process in the video so I am unable to post my version.


Next time we do a project like this I will probably need to make sure what events I have coming up so then I don't fall behind and try to get ahead in the project so when I get back there wont be to much to do that I wont be able to get it done. If I was to do something the same it would most likely be trying new things on the illustrator because cool things happen on accident. Accidents to me tend to always make things have a cooler affect like when I used the gradient tool and blended it with something else it made this cool kind of color that would of been great if it was in our color scheme.

 

     So in e-comm for the past couple weeks we've been working on 4 projects sadly I couldn't seem to find one of them, but I am pretty sure I did it. Well as you can see we changed the colors to a monarch butterfly, and put ONW and a compass in front of our school and then lastly we put the raven and parts of the building in front of the outside of our school. This was a real good learning process for future references because each and every single one of these had
something different to do with them.
     In the butterfly project we had to use the magic wand in order to change the colors to the butterfly and use the stamp to give it find of a flying affect on it which to me was my favorite project.
     The one with the compass we he to kinda paste in the compass and type the words in then lastly kinda fade it so you can see through all of them.
     The last thing we did was the hardest mostly because we had to delete this light post which was a pain and it literally took forever, but you know I got it

done; then we had to copy and paste and put a mask on the pictures to edit the size of them and the form.

Logo

I learned that in order to make a logo make since you must give it some flavor with color sadly I could only use two colors :( so I chose black and blue to kinda give you a futuristic kinda feel. The logo is teleport and I realized after all this sketching i ended up going with something completely different that i liked better. I used a circle to represent my teleporter.

Something to do With Color. 

In these projects I learned more of the specifics of colors and what they mean for example red represents hate and death, but on the other side of it it stands for love and all that kind of stuff. Another thing I learned was the meaning of shading and tenting a color. If you add white to a color you are tenting it, and if you add black to a color you are shading it.
